She was predeceased by: her husband William Ed Kirkland; her parents, Floyd Everett and Myrtle Everett (Oody); and her siblings, Ruth Massengill and C. E. "Dude" Everett.
She is survived by: her son Bruce Kirkland (Christy); her sister Faye E. Stamey; and her nieces and nephews, Jenny, Debbie, Judy, Teresa, Clayton and Jim.
