With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alene Parks of Loudon, Tennessee, who passed away on March 22, 2024 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Audie Frank and Bertie Kirkland (Lane); her husband Edward E. Parks; her granddaughter Christine Moser; and her siblings, Patricia Kirkland, Edna Houser, Vina Ferguson, Leona Miller, Faye Wilson, Nell Watkins, Robert, Junior and Warren "Dub" Kirkland.
She is survived by: her children, Ken (Donna Parks), Jane (Tommy Akens) and Jean Ann (Ricky Arden); her grandchildren, Adra Moore, Miller Parks (Kelsey), Sarah McKinney (Will), Julie Pappageorge (Eric), Leann Starnes (Nick) and Jaymie Evans (Vince); her siblings, Cleo Sherrill, Roxie Robinson (Pete) and James Kirkland; her brother-in-law Phil Watkins; and her friend Gary Fagg. She is also survived by 13 great grandchildren and one great-great grandson.
