He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernyce Meric and Albert Meric. He is survived by: his wife Joan Smith Meric; his children, Linda Meric (Chuck Walker) of Westminster, Colorado, Dr. Albert Meric III of Knoxvillle, Tennessee, Dr. Susan Meric Taylor (Garry) of Saskatoon and Sally Meric Coad (Warren) of Loudon, Tennessee.; and his grandchildren, Brian Gregg, Steven Gault, Kevin Gault and Kelly Meric. He is also survived by 5 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Capital Fund of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church.
