It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wanda Ann Lefan Powers (Loretto, Tennessee), who passed away on March 15, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Matthew Allen and Rachel Hardwick Lefan; her husband Bruce Powers; and her sister Frances Newman (Frank). She is survived by: her daughters-in-law, Cindy and Lori Powers; her sons, Ronnie (Nancy) of Florence, David Powers of Florence and Kenneth Powers (Elaine) of Muscle Shoals; her grandchildren, Stephanie Pless (Ken) of Muscle Shoals, Jeff Powers (April) of Florence, Jason, Matt Powers of Muscle Shoals and Wes Smith (Andee) of Jefferson; her great grandchildren, Katie Ridgeway (Ben) of Tuscumbia, Kess Lanier, Collin Pless of Muscle Shoals, Rhett, Celee Beth, Conley Powers of Florence, Zac, Ellie Jae Powers, Muscle Shoals, Hogan and Watson Smith; her niece Sharon Peters; and her nephew Mike Newman.
We were blessed to celebrate her 90th birthday in 2020, the week before covid shut everything down.
