He was predeceased by: his parents, James Hershel Marks and Dollie Mae Hughes Marks (Janie Marks); and his brothers, Morris Glen Marks, James Edward Marks and Billy Gene Marks.
He is survived by: his children, Chris "Red" Marks (Chantel), Tanya Robert (Kirk) and Tracey Cox; his siblings, M. L. Marks, Judy Lumpkins and Wanda Cameron; his grandchildren, Vandi Williams, Tasha Beckman, Nikki Cox, Kyle Cox, Chloie Cox and Tayla Sadler; and his great grandchildren, Aubrey Pesnell, Finn Beckman, Dean, Janie and Waylon Sadler.
