She was predeceased by: her husband K. P. Pennington; her parents, Joe Newton and Augusta Williams Newton; and her brother Hassel Newton. She is survived by: her daughters, Nikki Urban (Scottie) and Dawn Pennington Loretto; her sisters, Shelby, Glenda and Brenda; her sister-in-law Sondra Newton; and her grandchildren, Carson Urban and Carlee Urban.
