He was predeceased by: his father Marvin Sawyer, Sr.; his sons, Brent and Brad Sawyer; and his brother Donnie Sawyer. He is survived by: his wife Edith Sawyer; his mother Jean Sawyer of Florence, KY; his son Nathan Sawyer (Leslie) of Florence, AL; his siblings, Marvin Jr. "Buddy" Sawyer of Florence, KY, Gary Sawyer of Dry Bridge, KY, Jennie Doyle (Leon) of Florence, KY and Sandra Schaffer of Florence, KY; his grandchildren, Chasse Sawyer (Janna), Cooper Bromley, Jackson Sawyer and John Thomas Sawyer; and his great grandchild Sofia Grace Sawyer.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Ronnie's memory to Loretto United Methodist Mountain Top Mission.
