He was predeceased by: his wife Jean Barnett Augustin; his parents, Ernest John Augustin and Clara Mary Fredebeil Augustin; and his siblings, William H. "Sonny" Augustin and Dolores E. Augustin.

He is survived by: his sons, Robert K. Augustin, Jr. (Cheryl), Anthony J. Augustin (Terrye) and Douglas O. Augustin (David); and his sister Ruth G. Augustin. He is also survived by Grandchildren and (12) Great-grandchildren And faithful companion.
