He was predeceased by: his parents, Jody and Mary; his siblings, Willard and Marie; and his son-in-law Randy Wood.
He is survived by: his pet Butch; his wife Billie; his children, Karen Wood (Randy) of Decatur, AL, Connie Gruber (Tim) of Pell City, AL, Michael Robinson (Kelly) of Memphis, TN and Myra Beckman (Robb) of Hoover, AL.; his grandchildren, Katie Pisone (Morgen), Ashley Gruber (Diego Amado Torres), Anna Lloyd (David), Cory, Sam, Olivia and Jack; and his great grandchildren, Violet, Isabella, Lucas and Evelyn.
