She was predeceased by: her son Michael Slater; her parents, Ora Cox and Irene Wicks Cox; and her brothers, Bobby, Jimmy and Larry Cox.

She is survived by: her husband Donnie "Roho"; her daughters, Barbara and Janie Rogers (David); and her brother Terry Cox Lawrenceburg. She is also survived by 4 Grandchildren 3 Great Grandchildren.
