He is survived by: his wife Pauline Carter; his children, Doug Carter (Sherry), Greg Carter and Tammy Dishmon (Tim); his siblings, Sue Jones and Junior Carter (Betty); his son-in-law Timmy Stephens; his grandchildren, Lucas Carter, Tabaitha Dishmon, Tyler T. Stephens and Shelby Stephens; his great grandchildren, Maddie Carter, TJ Stephens, Annabelle Reed, Junior Reed, Grayson, Carter Hammitt and Zane Carter; and his daughter Deborah Stephens.
