He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Deck and Geraldine Poston Deck; his siblings, Tommy Deck and Pat Mayberry (Larry); his niece Amy Lewis; his parents-in-law, Glenard Hogue and Betty Jo Hogue Norris; and his brother-in-law Mark Hogue.

He is survived by: his wife Marsha Hogue Deck; his children, Josh Deck and Rachel Deck; his grandchildren, Emma, Drew, Tyson Deck and Nevaeh Skelton; his sisters, Debbie Deck and Laura Phillips; his siblings-in-law, Duane and Sarah Hogue; and his great-aunt Dorothy Stanton. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and lifelong friends.
