He was predeceased by: his parents, Booz B. Garrett and Ove Mae Buck Garrett; his wife Peggy June Robbins Garrett; his daughter Juliet Kim Garrett; his sister Ann Maxine Garrett Nivens; and his half-brother Pascal Garrett, Jr..
He is survived by: his children, Martin Garrett (Lounetta) of LaVergne, TN and Lisa Coil (Chris) of Allons, TN; and his grandchildren, Stephen Garrett (Jaime) of Antioch, TN, Russell Garrett of Nashville, TN, Ivan Coil of Cookeville, TN and EmmaClaire Coil of Allons, TN.. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
