She was predeceased by: her parents, James Barrett and Doris Mildred Barrett (McLaughlin); her husband Richard Hetcel; her sons, James and Thaddius; and her sister Dorothy Ball.
She is survived by: her children, Richard Hetcel Jr. (Dina) and Tracy Springer; and her siblings, Robert Barrett (Joyce) and Ruth Ann Young. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
