He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Shaw and Bernice Shaw (Watson); his nephew Dwayne Sey; his grandson Dustin Yax; and his brother-in-law Johnny Sey.

He is survived by: his friend Joanne; his daughters, Sandra, Kathy, Karen, Dina, Michaela, Corrie and Audrey; his grandchildren, Mat, Jami, Jennifer, Brandon, Shannon, Chad, Rachel, Amber and Trevor; his great grandchildren, Seith, Alice, Kennedi, Victor and Zoey; and his siblings, Dorothy Pace (Jerry), Lee (Marilyn), Don (Lora) and Tim (Cathy).
