He was predeceased by: his parents, John Bodnar and Helen Bodnar (Davidek); and his siblings, Dan, David and Linda.

He is survived by: his wife Joanne Parks; his son Jeff Bodnar (Kimberly); his grandchildren, Emma (Jedd), Claire, Simon, Kiersten (Max), Kendra (Chris) and Derrek (Kendra); his great grandchildren, Grey, Arden, Nora and Esther; and his sister Bernadine Less.
