Herbert Leon Marshall, age 76, of Linden passed away Friday, April 8, 2022 at his home. He was a retired engineer for Caterpillar. His favorite bible verse was Psalm Chapter 34. He is survived by his wife, Beverly Warren Marshall, a daughter, Patty Lee Cummings of Cape Coral, Fl., a step-daughter, Angela Karen Warren of Royal, AR., a son, Jonatahn Troy (Lynette) Marshall of Peoria, ILL., 3 step-sons, James Thomas (Diana) Warren, Randall Lynn Warren, and Kenneth Derrell (Karen) Warren of Millington, TN., 2 sisters, Pamela Jean (Wayne) Thing of Linden and Sandra Sue (Ed) White of Pekin, ILL., 2 brothers, Addie Ray (Val) Marshall of Delavan, ILL. and Darial Wayne (Andi) Marshall of Linden, a brother-in-law, Don Jacobs , 26 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Herbert and Arbelle Marshall, and a sister, Cora Ann Jacobs. Funeral services will be Wednesday, April 13 at 2PM at St. Regina Catholic Church in Parsons with burial to follow in the Bussell Cemetery in Perry County. Visitation will be at Reeds Chapel in Lexington on Tuesday 4PM-8PM and at St. Regina Catholic Church on Wednesday 12PM until time of service.
