With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gene Lyons (Linden, Tennessee), who passed away on July 23, 2019 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jonathan R. Lyons and Mildred D. Lyons (Allen); and his brother Carl Lyons. He is survived by: his children, Shriners Hospitals, Those, John Lyons (Donna) of Swartz Creek, Frances Matherly (Jeff) of Texas, Anita Miller of Swartz Creek, Gene, Jr. Lyons (Nancy) of Grand Haven, Tony Lyons (Amy) of Rockford and Greg Lyons of Flint; his close friend Janice Sabolish of Flushing; his sisters, Ada McMechan of Westland and Elaine Stratton (Bill) of Grand Blanc; and his sisters-in-law, Carol Lyons of Davison, Anita Patella (Chuck) of Tiltonsville, OH and Mary Salerno of Linden.
