He was predeceased by: his parents, Everette Oliver Hardee and Birdette Bolynn Hardee; his wife Gloria Dean Hardee; and his brothers, Eddie Ray Hardee and Everette Hardee.
He is survived by: his children, Cindy Lucas (Rick), Lemar Hardee, Jr. and Tammy Westmoreland (Steve); his grandchildren, Cheryl Richard (Steve), Ricky Darrell Lucas, II, Brett Hardee (Tiffany) and Cody Westmoreland; and his great grandchildren, Alex Balusek, Christian Balusek, Brian Richard, Tyler Richard, Serenity Hope Lucas, Kira Hardee, Hannah Hardee and Amelia Hardee.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to South Gastonia Church of God, 310 Carolina Avenue, Gastonia, NC 28052.
