She was predeceased by: her parents, John C. Wooten and Marie Sims Wooten; her husband Howard Dorton; and her siblings, John C. Wooten, Jr., Imogene Queen and Loretta Light.
She is survived by: her children, Denise Phipps, Alyssa Humphreys (Jarrett) and John Dorton (Lynn); her grandchildren, Sean Phipps (Monica), Grant Phipps, Haleigh, Haley Munson (Brett), Hunter Dorton (Rachael), Carter Dorton (Kenoa), Stuart Humphreys, Kim, Spencer Humphreys and Maddie Dorton Lee; and her great grandchildren, Drew, Kelsey, Grayson and Josie Dorton.
