She was predeceased by: her husband Rev. Lon Broyles, Jr.; and her parents, Tom Shelton and Lou Shelton. She is survived by: her children, Hope Schmidt (David), Byrd Broyles (Melissa) of Culleoka, TN and Tracy Flanary (Gary); her grandchildren, Lonnie Broyles (Sierra), Alyssa King (Adam), Sean Beach (Alexis) of Beth Broyles, M. E, Schmidt and Kaylin Flanary; her great grandchildren, Lon Broyles, Rosalie Barnes, Ayden King, Asher King, Madilyn Broyles and Timber Broyles; and her siblings, Rosemary Inman Chattanooga (John), Robert Shelton (Fain), Aldaree Young, Glynn Whaley (Freddie), Nancy Gillis (Roy) and Tom Shelton (Michelle). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousin, in-laws and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Philadelphia Cumberland Presbyterian Church (777 Snapp Bridge Rd, Limestone, TN 37681). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
