She was predeceased by: her parents, George W. Cogdell and Lena Hale Cogdell; her husband John William Young; and her siblings, John Henry, George, Frank, R. D. Cogdell, Clara Daniel, Dorothy Gurley, Flossie Todd, Virginia Todd and Evelyn "Pat" Scott. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
