He was predeceased by: his parents, Landon Hackney and Dora Lee Blackburn Hackney. He is survived by: his wife Carol Bell Hackney; his children, Rex Hackney, Rhonda Boone (Robby), Cheryl Justice (Joe) and Lora Hackney; his siblings, John Hackney, Barbara Blackburn and Linda Blackburn; and his grandchildren, Ashley Ross, Andrew Justice, Landon Roth and Dillon Roth. He is also survived by eleven great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
