He was predeceased by: his son Jonathan Vann Vowell; and his parents, Jackie Wayne and Ruby Vowell. He is survived by: his wife Kimberly Lowe Vowell; his sons, Toby Lan and Jackie McKinley Vowell; and his brother James Daniel Vowell. He is also survived by 2 grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
