He was predeceased by: his parents, James Vester Middleton and Della Mae Middleton; his wife Gladys Marie Middleton; and his siblings, Grady Middleton, Willie Hensley (Thelmar) and Wilma Barrels (James).
He is survived by: his children, Dale Middleton (Tammy), Joyce Burkeen (Prince) and Lois Hardin (David); his grandchildren, Holly, Brandy, Ginger, Cody, Kim, Jeff and Trevin; and his great grandchildren, Mason, Miles, Miller, Owen, Abby, Edie, Maggie Jo, Maddox, Robin, Michael, Laila and Graham. He is also survived by 7 great-great-grandchildren.
