With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sarah Lewis in Lexington, Tennessee, who passed away on January 4, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Sarah departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Sarah. Though Sarah may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her husband Bud Lewis; her parents, Cecil Bell and Annie Bell; and her brother William Bell. She is survived by: her son Derrick Lewis (Betsy); her granddaughter Allison Smith (Austin); and her great grandchildren, Millie Smith, Ella Smith and Jace Smith.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Reed's Chapel (113 S West St, Decaturville, TN 38329). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at the Jones Cemetery.
