He was predeceased by: his parents, Carmen Hill and Ruth Davis Hill; his wives, Elizabeth Ellen Ozier Hill and Linda Louise Triplett Hill; and his brother Clois Hill.
He is survived by: his children, Mark Hill (Renee), Robert Hill, Jr., Terry Hill (Susan), Joel Hill and Patti Duke; his stepchildren, Tim Bowles, Teresa Smith (Mike) and Delaine Hamm; and his grandchildren, Caleb Duke, Katie Tate (Trey), Kurt Romelhart (Kristen) and Priscilla Hill. He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
