She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas Powers; and her parents, Genie Blackwell and Imojean Blackwell. She is survived by: her children, Robin Powers of Cedar Grove, Kevin Powers of Cedar Grove and Stacy Blankenship (David) of Lexington; and her grandchildren, Kiera Williams, Katie Blankenship, Ava Blankenship and Noah Blankenship.
