She was predeceased by: her parents, Connie Blankenship and Margie Blankenship; her husband Charles E. Small; her siblings, Allen Blankenship, LaVon Stribling, Dale Richardson and Kay Scott; and her daughter-in-law Kristie Small.

She is survived by: her children, Tony Small, Judy Ridley (Denny), Jeff Small (Leesa) and Tammy Meadows (Rickey); her caregiver Wendy Harden; and her close friend Dan Hughes. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
