She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Greenway and Addie Greenway (Horton); her husband Ernest Byrd; and her siblings, Mary Greenway Forgette, Faye Greenway Lovell, Albert Greenway Jr. and Vernon Greenway.

She is survived by: her nephew Paul Forgette (Phyllis). She is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
