He was predeceased by: his wife Doris N. Wood; his parents, Lou Delia Wood and Oscar Lee Wood; his sons, Charles Mark Wood and Paul David Wood; and his siblings, Dennis Ray Wood, Roy Wood and Etta Fay White.
He is survived by: his daughters, Patti Wood of Lexington, TN, Lori Vail (Bryan) of Apache, OK and Misty Austin (Shannon) of Gilbert, AZ.; and his sister Betty Roberts Lexington. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Stanfill Funeral Home and Cremation (200 Pine Dr, Lexington, TN 38351). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM.
