Nora E. Phelps Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nora E. Phelps in Lexington, Tennessee, who passed away on December 22, 2024 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Nora may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Nora touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Audrane Phelps and Nora Phelps. She is survived by: her children, Rita Sylvester (Nicky Carter), Retonia Woods (John), Renita Peppers (William) and George Speer Jr. (Nicole); her grandchildren, Terisa Sylvester, Kyle Peppers, Robin McMinn, Ellie Mae Speer and George Speer III; and her great grandchildren, Sam McMinn and Shane McMinn.
A graveside service was held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Independence Cemetery (2530 Independence Loop, Lexington, TN 38351).
