With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mike Barrett of Lexington, Tennessee, born in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, who passed away on March 10, 2023 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Donald Walter Barrett; and his wife Peggy Lee Barrett. He is survived by: his daughters, Tammy Khan (Zia) of Guyton and Nicole Wright of Lexington, TN.; his sister-in-law Deborah Himmel of Wildersville, TN; his siblings, Jerry Barrett of St. Genevieve and Karen Burns of Wasilla; his stepmother Janet Miller (Russ) of Bloomsdale; his aunts, Christine Barrett of Troy and Josephine Marlen of Silva; and his grandchildren, Rebecca Derico of San Antonio, TX, Scott Wright of Pueblo, CO and Justin Wright of Pueblo, CO..
In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to the American Legion Post #77, or the American Cancer Society.
