In the sacred silence of farewell, Matt is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. He is survived by: his wife Jill Lofton of Lexington; his daughters, Peyton Hope Lofton of Lexington, Preslee Jane Lofton of Lexington and Parker Alison Lofton of Lexington; his parents, Velma Lofton of Medina and George Lofton of Millington; and his brother William Lofton.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 5th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Lexington (50 Stanford Ave, Lexington, TN 38351). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 5th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers you may make a contribution to a memorial fund to benefit Matt and Jill's children. These contributions can be made at any Community Bank location, or mailed to Community Bank P.O. Box 710 Lexington TN 38351.
