He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard E. Mitchell and Helen Long Mitchell; and his brother Howard C. Mitchell. He is survived by: his wife Patricia R. Smith Mitchell; his daughter Cindy Eason (Dan) of Lexington; his grandsons, Dustin Coyne of Pinson and Drake Eason of Lexington; and his brothers, Richard T. Mitchell (Carolyn) of Somerville and Larry T. Mitchell of Perryville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and many close friends.
