She was predeceased by: her former husband Ollie James; her parents, Horace Kirk and Evie Kirk; and her siblings, Aaron Kirk, Ethel Cook, Helen Cook, Brooksie Hunley and Marcie Pierce.
She is survived by: her husband John Robert Byrd; her sons, Kenny James (Vicky) and Wendell James (Sharon); her siblings, Glenn Kirk, Michael Kirk and Brenda Fiddler; and her grandchildren, Meghan Helms (Heath), Madison James, Richard James and Sarah Cole. She is also survived by 7 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 9:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM. A burial was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
