He was predeceased by: his mother Lois; his grandparents, Ella Sipes Hughes, Arvalee Brown, Gilbert and Martha Sego; his sister Joan Elizabeth Taylor; and his great grandchild Jake Melton.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Jowers Brown; his children, Kelcey Brown (Melissa) and Hope Weaver (Johnny); his grandchildren, Brylie, Kennedy, Kyrsten Brown and Amanda Melton (Justin); his great grandchild Jordan Kate Melton; his brother-in-law Butchie Taylor; his niece Tammy Taylor (Debbie); his nephew Ricky B. Taylor; and his great-niece Andee Horton (Matthew).
