He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny Burton and Litha Watson Burton; and his stepdaughters, Georgia and Rita. He is survived by: his children, James Burton, Jr., Randy Lee Burton, Robert Burton, Jimmy Burton, Ryan Burton, Martha Henderson and Rachel Fuller; and his stepsons, Danny O'Guinn and Eddie O'Guinn. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; 1 great great granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews.
