He was predeceased by: his wife Celia Marie Powers; his parents, Roy Powers and Beulah Powers; and his siblings, Chester Powers, George Powers of Washington, Zula Mae Myracle, Loretta Volner, Pearlie Fay Renfroe and Izetta Frye.

He is survived by: his children, Bradley Powers (Suzan) of Jackson and Dayna Powers of Kent, WA; and his sister Retha Shutt of Decaturville.
