He was predeceased by: his parents, Tom Vales and Louise Vales; his stepson Terry Joe Wallace; and his stepson-in-law Wes Miller. He is survived by: his wife Faye Vales; his children, Donnie Vales, Chris Vales and Nikki Heidelberg (Don); his stepchildren, Vic Wallace (Pat), Sammy Wallace (Paulette), Beverly Hatcher (Donnie), Deborah Goodman, Shelby Fincher (Mancel), Lilly Osborn, Pam Miller (Vance) and Tina Berryman (Ray); and his brother Lonnie Vales. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel of Pafford Funeral Home - Lexington (71 Monroe St, Lexington, TN 38351).
