He was predeceased by: his parents, Hershel Barnett Gordon and Mary Jewel Edward Gordon; and his siblings, Ruby Louis Gordon Hamm, Malcolm Thomas Gordon and Debra K. Gordon Schierholtz.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Sue Brown Gordon; his siblings, Margaret Ann Gordon Hendrix (Bob), James Hershel Gordon, Mary Elizabeth Boldretaini and Aaron Keith Gordon (Sherie); and his children, Edith Manyelle Gordon Harris, Carter Ernest Powell, Bobby Jo Powell and Pamela Marie Brown. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 8 greatgrandchildren.
