He was predeceased by: his father Dennis Nolan Sumler; and his siblings, Gina Sumler and John Tulley. He is survived by: his son David Bruce Sumler; his mother Peggy Bowman Williams; his siblings, Becky June Grissom, Jackie Evans, Deanna Williams and Jessie Williams; and his grandchildren, Makala Sumler and McKenzie Sumler.
