She was predeceased by: her father Joe Mayfield; her husband James M. Johnson; her siblings, Clarence Mayfield, Edwin Mayfield, Carl Mayfield, Bill Mayfield and Lennie Mayfield; and her grandson Jason Johnson.
She is survived by: her children, John Johnson (Jody) and Helen Smith; and her grandchildren, Jennifer Dyer, Jason Dyer, Jessica Robertson, Chris Johnson, Jeremy Johnson and Shasta Melton. She is also survived by 19 great- grandchildren.
