He is survived by: his wife Rosie Burks Dunnavant; his children, Eric Dunnavant (Leann) of Tullahoma and Felisha Dunnavant of Bell Buckle; his stepchildren, Mary Ann Cabral of Lewisburg, Paul H. Casteel of Lewisburg, Boon Casteel of Lewisburg and Lilly Casteel of Lewisburg; his siblings, Paula Cox (Larry) of Kingston, Carolyn Watkins of Pulaski, Randy Dunnavant (Nancy) of Pulaski and Ray Dunnavant (Sherry) of Pulaski; and his sister-in-law Mary Dunnavant of Prospect. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren.
