She was predeceased by: her parents, D. E. Tankersley and Ruth Martin Tankersley; and her husband Robert Cecil Ervin, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Lois Shockney (Jeff) of Taft, TN, Barbara Thomas (Don) of Lewisburg and George Ervin (Rhonda) of Lewisburg; her grandchildren, Kendall Ervin, Ethan Ervin, Kayla Dunnivant, Beth Elswick, Robert Shockney, James Shockney, Daniel Shockney, Jonathan Thomas, Carrie Thomas, Nicholas Thomas and Katie Flowers; and her sisters-in-law, Arlene Hickman, Linda Tindell, Betty Sharp, Jean Woodside and Jeanette Crutcher. She is also survived by nineteen great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Chapel of London Funeral Home (324 W Church St, Lewisburg, TN 37091). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Berea Church of Christ (2611 Verona Caney Rd, Lewisburg, TN 37091).
