It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Coleman Crockett Sr. of Lewisburg, Tennessee, who passed away on November 13, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Granville "G. W." Crockett and Elaine Allison Crockett; his wife Margaret "Peggy" McGreal Crockett; his sisters, Evelyn Eubanks (Staten), Becky Spencer (Bobby) and Ruth Nevel (Tom); and his sister-in-law Barbara Leitos (Tony).
He is survived by: his children, Lisa Reeves of Shelbyville, Maureen Crockett of Shelbyville and Coleman Crockett (Sylvia) of Lewisburg; his grandchildren, Wesley Stapler, Chad Schoenberger (Lauren), Daniel Schoenberger (Katelin), Erin Nunley (Chase), Maddin Reeves (Madison McCormick), Allison Crockett and Levi Matthews; and his great grandchildren, Chase, Anna Kate, Luke, Eli Schoenberger and Thomas Nunley. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Doak-Howell Funeral Home (739 N Main St, Shelbyville, TN 37160). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church (1606 TN-130, Shelbyville, TN 37160).
