She was predeceased by: her parents, James Vive and Selma McKinney Gullie; her husband Neman Thompson; and her grandsons, Tim Prater and Wayne Taylor.
She is survived by: her children, Brenda Derryberry (Clay) of Cleveland, Ron Thompson (Azilee) of Baxley, GA, Steve Thompson (Sandra) of Lewisburg and Paul Thompson (Kay) of Shelbyville; and her grandchildren, Nathan Park (Cindy) of Benton, TN, Rachel Troute (Foye) of Signal Mountain, Vivian Hicks (Kevin) of Gallatin, Chris Thompson of Orlando, Kristin Courtemanche of Lewisburg and Deanna Reynolds (John) of Baxley, GA. She is also survived by twelve great grandchildren, and four great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Chapel of London Funeral Home (324 W Church St, Lewisburg, TN 37091). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at the Short Cemetery.
