He is survived by: his wife Mary Ruth Mobbs McDonald of Lewisburg, TN; his daughters, Janet F. Sharp of Lewisburg, TN and Lorenda Sue Patterson of Nashville, TN; and his grandsons, Graig A. Sharp (Amanda) of Shelbyville, TN and John R. Patterson (Masoumeh) of Charlotte, NC. He is also survived by three great-grandsons; one great-granddaughter; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces, and great-great-nephews.
