With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rose Skillern of Lewisburg, Tennessee, born in Rose Hill, Virginia, who passed away on July 21, 2021 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Wilder and Almira Daniel Wilder; her husbands, William T. Blackwell and Charles Skillern; and her siblings, Jessie James Wilder, Howard Wilder and Laura Bell Wilder.
She is survived by: her children, Randy Blackwell of Bristol, TN, Amy L. Blackwell of Lewisburg, TN and Donna E. Blackwell of Lewisburg, TN; her grandchildren, Angela Wallace, Jessica Rogers and Alyson Blackwell; her great grandchildren, Laken Newcomb, Grayson Graybell, Ryan Graybell and Fallon Rogers; her siblings, Betty Byers (Jerry) of Dallas, GA and Tommy Martin (Cheryl) of Chapel Hill, TN; and her friend Dennis Hunter. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
