With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Richard McCoy Kilpatrick Sr. of Lewisburg, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 31, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Andy Kilpatrick and Jessie Ary Kilpatrick Hunter; his wife Eddie Frances Kilpatrick; and his brothers, John, Mack and Billy Don Kilpatrick.
He is survived by: his children, Andrea Klaren (Bob), Rick Kilpatrick (Joy) of Lewisburg, TN, Allen Kilpatrick (Donna) of Brentwood, TN and Frank Kilpatrick (Tracy) of Lewisburg, TN; his grandchildren, Bo Klaren (Katie), Kody Klaren (Emily), Tyler Klaren (Brittney), Sara Kilpatrick, Krystina Hopkins, Ryan Kilpatrick, Ereann Kilpatrick Oberle (Nick), Cameron Kilpatrick (Andrea), Dylan Kilpatrick (Marie) and Jesse Kilpatrick (Cheyanne Cooksey); his great grandchildren, Rowen, Grayton, Hadlynn, Lindon, Langston, Augusta Klaren, Avery, Ivy Klaren, Lexi Rowland, Hayden, Layla Sanders, Oliver Oberle, Amelia, Cruz Kilpatrick, Cooper and Anna Camryn Kilpatrick; his brother Gene Kilpatrick of Hohenwald, TN; and his siblings-in-law, Ludell Coffey of Knoxville, TN, Billy Vaughn and Oscar Neill of Collierville, TN. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Lawrence Funeral Home (203 S Horton Pkwy, Chapel Hill, TN 37034). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
